About Growth & Justice

  • Growth & Justice is a progressive think tank committed to making Minnesota's economy simultaneously more prosperous and fair. We believe that at a time of deep partisan division, Minnesotans can unite around one goal: a strong and growing state economy that provides a decent standard of living for all.

Dane--Thanks for this. It's interesting to see so many communities recognizing the need to get everyone involved in Student Success. I don't know if you are familiar with Jack Minzey's work. He's the "grandfather" of community education and wrote about the need to engage the community at a time when population is shifting to a time when the vast majority of residents do not have a child in the public schools. His book "Reforming Public Schools through Community Education", although written in the 1970's, is timely today. I recommend picking it up.
