While this instance of "religious" involvement in politics is not as bad as some...keep the tax exempt religious out of the affairs of state or we are on the road to extremism.

Our government independent of religion depends on the active use of reason and any appeals to or by those who reject reason in favor of faith is sure to lead to something like we see in the southern USA;i.e. So.Carolina,AL,TX,etc.
