"more honest"? I suppose in a gray world of indecisiveness "more honest" is a "less unique" oddity than when honesty and dishonesty, like right and wrong, is considered a binary dichotomy. (Could your question have been phrased "should progressives be less dishonest ...?") Nonetheless, by all means, Dane be more honest. :-}
